Weigh-In will begin @ 7am with the show starting at approximately 9am.

There will be a light class and a heavy class with Grand and Reserve awarded in both divisions.

Grand Champions will be awarded with $200 and Reserve Champions will be awarded with $100.
Prizes will be awarded for showmanship also.

All entries are $15 a head with a $5 showmanship fee per showman.

We here at Mac-B-Jac Showpigs would like to thank all of you who have reserved your pigs for the 2011 show year!! We have sold out of nearly 450 pigs this year and can't wait to see how all of your projects turn out. We look forward to seeing you April 9th at the lottery and throughout the year at your fairs. Those of you purchasing your pigs at the lottery please remember to be getting a warm home ready for your little piggies. They love it to be about 80 degrees all the time!! But then, so do I!!! Good luck everybody!

Congratulations to all of our winners!! You all did such a great job.

Thanks everybody for making this first year a great one!! We hope you all had a lot of fun and learned a lot too. I wish the weather could've cooperated but nonetheless, it was a great day! I'm sorry for the lateness of this post but me and my camera had to have a knock-out-drag-out to figure out how to get my pictures on the computer. Just a reminder, the Mini-Cassia Junior Showdown is going to be held July 10th at the Mindoka County Fairgrounds. Weigh-in is at 7am with the show beginning at approximately 10am. We hope to see you all at the show!

We thought we'd share the first of many baby piggies gettting ready to be born. These babies were born January 2nd, just in time for a lot or your fairs. They are colored beautifully and are already so fun to play with. We'll have a couple more litters this week and then every week through February.

Mark your calendars! Our Mac-B-Jac Showpig sale will be April 10th! Mark it on your calendars and get ready to have fun picking out your little piggies and having a yummy pork lunch. It'll be a great day to come with your family and start your 4-H year! We'll see you there.

Introducing...BlackJac; Our New Boy!!!

Thought I'd share our new guy with all of you! He will be the sire to many of our showpigs for all of your fairs and shows in 2010. He is a gentle giant that's for sure. He is a sweetheart and has the best temperment. Unfortunately, I am not a great picture taker let alone a great picture taker of moving objects so I didn't get too many pictures of him. But he is as wide in the shoulders as he is in the hams. He stands extra wide and is a big boned hog. We look forward to seeing his offspring this January and February.
